EU has always been seen as the bastard offspring/lesser child which means it is still an awkward thing to raise. The sad thing is, if SCEA had a Shahid, Vita would probably be in a relatively comfortable position right now. I dunno, maybe it's just a British thing to prefer the passion as opposed to the BS. |
Many in that company believe Customer Service to be the black sheep or redheaded step child. So it was the bastard offspring questioning in this case. It shouldn't be awkward as long as neither party is antagonistic. Say he called and said "I see on the US blog that FF Type-0 is coming to Vita. I hadn't heard anything about it myself which is pretty surprising cause I've been trying to get the game on Vita myself. If you could let me know whom to speak to so that I could get some more information about FF Type-0's Vita release I would be greatly appreciative. I know Vita owners have wanted the game for some time and I would love to let them know publically in this region their hard work has paid off." Then he would have gotten an email probably thanking them for bringing that bit of misinformation to their attention and explaining things.
An SCEA equivalent of Shahid would probably have less resources because SCEA has collectively decided not to care about the platform. He can only do as much good as his dept will support him to do same as Shahid. I do not believe SCEA would support the person at all.
