Forums - Gaming - Digital Event superior to conference.

To all those people who rush to pull down anything that deviates from the norm, maybe you'll try to be a little more open-minded next time.

The Digital Event was polished and well paced with a little humour thrown in here and there. Not much of the awkwardness, technical issues or painful, eye-rolling stuff we'd probably have gotten had Nintendo done a a conference as usual.

Around the Network

I did have some video problems but the audio was spot on.

What was with that robot chicken stuff though?

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.

Iwata and Reggi fight that's all ;)

The YouTube stream worked perfectly. Nintendo nailed their initials this time.

My stream was flawless.

Around the Network

I still would prefer a conference, plus it wasnt long enough. Nintendo announced 4 game so far after the event? Why the hell were they not included?

Not for me :/

Put aside content questions: it's hard to argue that the presentation aspect was not done better than the live conferences.

Yeah, Iwata and Reggie took the cake. Bowser didn't take the donut though.

I think this is the right way to go to avoid technical issues, long and awkward silences and to get the pacing running perfectly. I don't mind now Digital Events.
