The new Halo, when it arrives could certainly push more system than Destiny.

Yes, Destiny is a massively hyped, huge, new IP. The MCC as awesome as it is, is still a collection of games the majority of xbox owners have played. As far as the Desiny bundle goes i guess you could say it's a system seller it's at #5 on Amazon and has only been available for about 12 hours.

Not as much as how much Microsoft spent on the media creating the fake titanfall hype. The game on the Xbone sold worse than Infamous: SS which is a huge embarrassment.

The Xbone and all the franchises associatd with the brand are in trouble.

If a game on xbox sells alot its due to the 1 billion advertising. 

If a game sells great on ps it was because the game was awesome. It did not have much advertising. 

Watchdogs had a crazy advertising budget on ps4 so thats why it sold good whether you deny it.

The titanfall advertisement budget probably eclipsed the amount of money SONY will ever spend on the PS4 including its accessories, advertising, cost to create exclusives, etc.

It was so ginormous that I think it's possible that Microsoft will never be able to make a profit on the Xbox again.

npd says titanfall outsold infamous. Infamous only sold more in april and not by much. I think its more embarrassing saying this^ as infamous was exclusive and was outsold by a multiplat on a single system.

uk march npd shows titanfall outsold infamous ss by about 300k

april uk npd shows infamous outsold titanfall by ~ 10k i believe (lets say 50k to cover mars too).

I take it this will be the new Titanfall? A game that's supposed to be huge and move consoles but ends up not doing so. Hyped to heck on forums, but not directly translating the mainstream. I think the game will sells big, have a high attach rate, but it won't do much to move consoles (TF was also #1 on Amazon for a while) 

It's appeal is mainly for those who already own an X1, and the Halo core who are actually nostalgic for 10 year old multiplayer. The mainstream that makes Halo big won't really care, it'll just be "Those games I played years ago". We've seen this before with other HD remasters and remakes.

Halo 5 is where it's at for the mainstream, and pushing it back to 2015 essentially let's Sony take the Holidays.

Heck, I'll say this, Destiny will move more PS4s than Halo Collection will move X1s.
