Sony can go either way

To be fair MS have given Sony a heads-up when they said they were going to talk games, games and games... so if Sony has any sense they are going to need to show a lot of games.

I like the new format of MS conference with less talking and just going from trailer to trailer, but the content was underwhelming.  

Microsoft's show was decent. Safe but good enough. I gave it a 7/10.
My guess is it won't be hard to not 'lose' for Sony but beating them requires a bit of crowd awing.

The conference will be remembered for more than just what they announced. They had GAMES, the things we watch the conferences for. Not 15 minutes of some guy talking about an exclusive partnership with NFL.

I get the feeling Sony will play it safe too. I know, as a Sony fan, I will be happy with what they bring but after a good, but lackluster Xbox conference, I'm not expecting much.

Thats how I felt, I mean sure, they showed "games games games" but all those games were either multiplats, or expected. And the few new reveals weren't anything in terms of a "Megaton" and were only CG trailers.

at least , sony will not focus that much on third party , and then , they will show us more first party , but i really hope , the indi part will be as short as possible

I was expecting a MS megaton announcement that never came. The door is open for Sony, it depends on what they decide to show. Sony had a lot of 1st party studios working on game yet to be announced.

They're going to increase the PS4 price to $599?

I wouldn't say in the bag, but I think the odds are in their favour.
