What games would those be? Super Mario 3D Land, ALBW, Pokémon X/Y etc. are all considered to be extremely good games that harken back to what made the series good in the first place. I understand this ideology with the Wii U, but not completely with the 3DS.

THIS. I love when he says things like that, but i wonder what HIS idea for a follow up to DS would have been? what could have been done to make it better? more powerful? thats what they did. didnt help much.

true but DS+GBA didn't have a market where its overruned by Tablets+Smartphones.

They still sell the 3ds???

OT: Almost what I just stated. The 3ds is a retread of the ds. Not sure how long a small incremental upgrade can sell really well. Maybe they should release a 2ds? Oh wait, they already tried that.

Nintendo must have a new handheld coming real soon.

I acknowledged that but 3DS is not selling bad because XB1 is selling less is stupid logic. XB1 sold like 50,000 units? Somebodies proud 3DS beat that!?
