can't say. the title jumps out a bit, but i'm not sure if your point was about titanfall being a failure because of sales, or because it was a broken game.

try again but reword the title and change you opening remarks. most the mods here now are user friendly member that swore not to pick up the mod hammer but had no choice.

Mr. Khan has always been a solid mod so just look over your thread and see wht you can change. start over, then remake the thread.

To offer several points

1) The thread was locked, which is why you can no longer reply there.
2) Ultimately you'll get no good answer on consistent policy. Your thread got reported by several people, and while i don't think your intention was to start anything really bad, that is where the thread would have gone inevitably. Titanfall's sales performance has led to issues on the site before, and a confrontational, gloating tone like your OP was going to create more problems than it would solve. To that end, rather than having to check the site tomorrow and find a bunch of massive multi-quote tree posts and a lot of "he said she said" reports, it was easier to just lop the problem at the source. Again, it seemed innocent enough in intent, which is why i dropped it.
3) Yeah, you're also not really supposed to make threads about moderations outside of the "mod team performance" thread (which is also here in the Site Issues) forum.

For instance, what you could have done more constructively was to talk about the significance of Watch Dogs versus the significance of Titanfall, and compare the impact that Watch Dogs' launch has had, maybe also comparing against another exclusive like Infamous. Tone counts for a lot on here, and the OP of a thread is the person who's going to set the tone for the discussion, ultimately.

And since this thread already seems to be becoming a magnet for mod criticism as well, i'll lock it too. Please direct further replies to the stickied thread you find in "Website Issues" (its the only one in there).

I wouldn't say that.  I haven't been banned yet and I've posted quite a lot.  One thing is that you CAN get banned for strongly worded opinions.  Generally you can stay out of trouble as long as you stay calm and keep away from making your opinions come off as something other than opinion.
