I don't get it...

Fat lady = launch 60Gb PS3. Which had full backwards compatible with the PS1 and PS2.

Yup have a PS4 and before it a 60GB launch PS3 (the one with the spiderman blu-ray movie and upgraded its HDD to 500GB; sold now), PS2 and PS2 slim, PS (never got the slim). And never for some reason bought any of sony's portables....actually I just realized that I have never owned a portable. Unless phones count.

Oh you can throw a gamecube, OGXB and a stupidly powerful PC into that list too (Pc is work related as I seem to hate playing games on a PC).

Jesus, that must have costed a lot! How much was it?

Well, it cost $599. Which was the launch price of the PS3. The Spiderman blu-ray was a bonus in I think the first 500k launch consoles. Or was it Casino Royale? Hmmmm... just realized that i can't remember which movie came with my console. Anyways, there was  a movie.

I used to buy more than one console in every generation, but after spending $600 for one console last gen? well lets just say that I kicked out that habit fast. Now I have even less of a reason to buy more than one console especially when you consider that both the PS4 and XBO have a paid online service now. No way in hell I wil be paying for 2 seperate online services. And the WiiU? I will take nintendo seriously again when they start to take themselves seriously. They were my childhood platform, practically grew up with nintendo, I gave them another shot with the GC, then they did the Wii, and now WiiU......ah well.

Yes.

My first Sony console bought on launch day.

I was mainly a 360 player last gen but their XBone reveal made me instantly join PSN, buy a PS3, Vita, and pre-order my PS4 the next day.

I have no regrets.

It has the best versions of 3rd party games and will have a strong 1st party line up.

Man, I've never seen anyone change consoles so fast! How have your consoles been so far?

It's the best way to be. Don't be "loyal" and blindly follow a company if their products don't meet your requirements.

Microsoft pissed me off with their policies so they miss out on my roughly $6,000 per console per generation spend.

It's a small drop in the ocean, but if more people did the same, like they have with the XBone, then consumers can once again have the power instead of being dictated too by the mega corporations.

What's your favourite and least favourite thing about it?

Kindof a broad question, but I guess my favorite is how smooth everything about it feels, compared to PS3. The OS runs great, the games run great, the DS4 is the best controller ever created imo, and how everything feels so accessable and complete. My least favorite? Still no MP3/4 playback. Quriocity kindof sucks, and I just want to be able to put my favorite music from my phone and Vita onto the system and have the ability to listen to it whenever I play games.

Its great that Sony improved things that were a major problem on the PS3 like the OS and controller.

Got one, platinumed the beast of killzone, gave up on platting cod (too hard)

Really? Wow. That's quite surprising that you found COD too hard yet managed to plat Killzone. I think Killzone is the much harder plat out of the 2.

I'd easily get cod if it didn't have those crap alien trophies.

Killzone is time consuming but not hard at all.

I have a launch day ps4. I went to bestbuy after the Microsoft reveal pissed me off, and prepaid for a ps4 in June of last year. I was mostly a 360 player, got that one on launch day too. If Microsoft won't have come out with such arrogance, I probably would have got the x1 on launch day instead. When I heard some bone headed ass from Microsoft say, if you want to play offline, there's an Xbox 360 for that. That's when I said fuck you, there's a ps4 for that.
