I am amazed that games like Tales of Zesteria and Persona 5 are releasing a year after the PS4's release on PS3. This should not be the case at all. I get that they want to go for that big userbase, especially in Japan where PS4 adoption hasn't been the greatest thus far, but releasing it on both consoles would really expand their audience especially in the west where the new consoles are selling like hotcakes.
This is the time when the market on these platforms aren't oversaturated with games on most genres (bar FPS). Filling in these voids like Arc System Works is doing with Guilty Gear Xrd with a 2D fighting game could really work in their favour. Heck, Capcom could have released Street Fighter 4 Ultimate on PS4/Xbone and I bet it would have made some great numbers.
they make shitty games and people dont buy it simple . only okay game from japan studios last gen was Nino Kuni.REst were pure bullshit.this time if SE finally release FF15 and KH3 they have good chance to be back.
also capcom to put another revolotiunary SF title
It's sad to say, but Japanese devs have been in huge part irrelevant throughout the whole seventh gen already, so no reason to be overly surprised here.
