I'm missing your point, elaborate.

If a game is released on xb and pc, it doesn't mean the XB version will sell poorly. It means less XBs will be sold than if there was no PC version.

And right now the mere idea of this "trend" already hurts HW

For example WD PS4 boosted HW right? But the boost would have been even bigger if there was no PC version (MK8 and Wii U say hi)

Yeah... your example proves absolutely nothing. Watch Dogs had a bigger opening than MK8 on PS4 even though its available on several other consoles and PC.

The impact if any of a PC port isn't significant. Its an argument Sony fans have made for the life of the 360. Yet the 360 was a strong competitor and sold more 1st party software.

I assume that's a joke or bad wording?

No surprise there. Microsoft exclusives mostly end up on PC anyways, which is why they never help the console as much as PS exclusive does.

Here is a great example of an opinion that uses zero facts.

The games that encourage people to buy Sony and MS consoles are generally multiplat.

As usual your comment has nothing to do with the one you quote. I didn't say exclusives sell more systems than multiplats. I said, if you are able to read without assuming, PS exclusives empact the hardware more than Xbox exclusives, as they will never be found elsewhere. Which has been true for all Xbox exclusives at one time or another except Halo and Forza, even Halo was on PC once.

The Xbox Fans are trying to spin this as a positive thing, claiming that it will increase software sales, AS IF, MS was in a position to prioritize SW over HW sales. Hopefully, this is capcom's doing and the QB PC rumor is false.

Console exclusives might sell well for a time, but even if you make them PC games when they are past there prime, not to mention no launch game is even a year old yet, it reduces the value of the library of the console, a disadvantage the XB1 does not need right now.

At price parity, it performs worse than the PS4, so it has no multiplat adavantage, exclusives and the promise of exclusives are the only thing selling the console now. Ryse, Forza, SO, QB(If rumor false), KSR(if kinect),i ts not looking good

I don't see why a PC port would hurt Xbox1 sales (hardware or software), and this port is coming out late (and it is no longer in the top 75 weekly sales and i'm guessing it is selling less than 10k weekly).

A high end PC gamer and a console gamer are different markets/consumers.  A cross PC/Xbox1 or PS4 gen game probably doesn't have too much effect on each other.  Only small niche has a console and a high end PC.  Personlly, I usually play multiplayer games on consoles and single player games on PC.  Most of my friends (that I actually hang out with) are on consoles.  Most PC gamers probably has never met each other in real life other than online.....
