capcom is publishing it. not microsoft. 

Fun fact, MS gave Remedy permission to release Alan Wake on PC but did not publish it.

If Capcom only brings DR3 to PC, I would assume that was because of a deal they made with MS.

Although, i might need a new graphics card if i decide to play newer games in high settings. But we'll see

Common sense? ^^; Anyone with a decent PC who previously saw DR3 as a reason in favor of buying an X1 no longer will. That "hurts" Xbox. I never implied that the impact would be huge, simply that the X1 needs every sale it can get right now.

Not sure what MS's support with windows would has to do with anything. This rumor is about it coming to steam, that would encourage people to use SteamOS more than it would stop them. Not to mention if Capcom are the ones publishing it then MS don't get a penny from this, so have no incentive to be the ones behind it (they wouldn't allow an X1 exclusive to become available on Steam for teh lulz).

As a PC/Steam gamer, I'm good with this. I'll never drop money on a PS4 or XB1, so the more games available on Steam, the better, and especially zombie games, my favorite.
