Well that said, with PS4's sales Sony doesn't really have to try to impress anybody, merely get them excited for next year. 

This year their job is to pander to 3rd party devs to solidify their position. MS on the other hand is desperate to change their image. 

Sony has to watch out Microsoft doesn't blown them out of the water, tieds turn within a second, especially with Kinect being dropped.

Mainland Europe and Japan won't care what MS does and NA is still Sonys turf. They can more then wait till 2015 to really start trying. The more you sell the less they care, I know this because I lived it last gen ;) There I said it.

Why does this surprise anyone? Are people forgetting that there is something called Gamescon in august? Which is the european equivalent to E3. And then we have TGS in September. Nintendo doesn't present at E3 and gamescon and MS doesn't present at TGS. Sony presents at all three.

I dunno, if i were sony would simply just try and show the games coming from studios working in the respective regions. Oh wait.........

with psnow launching this summer i feel quite certain we will be details about it.  launch date, initial titles, business model (rental options, subscription option, ect).  i'm just hoping for cross buy.  if psnow doesn't support my ps3/4 digital library i'll be soo disappointed.

the last guardian,.. it just has to be there.  has to.

uncharted, it is inevitable.

probably a couple smaller things too.  pixal junk or thatgamecompany or a japan studios title or maybe a new partnership.

third party: destiny for sure.  a few others as well,.. probably with some exclusive DLC or whatever.

indies: how could sony shun indies there year.  won't happen.  fez 2 maybe?  or did fish actually kill that game for realz?

it won't be a horrible showing.  not the best e3 ever but around average really.  we gamers always seem to have such short term memory about how many big announcements really get made each e3..

lol indeed. 2011-2013 in particular as a Xbox fan. Coasting on kinect fuelled 360 sales meant not having to try with the fans. I at least am happy that MS is trying now, it matters not that its fuelled by lack of marketshare, point being I am being catered to again.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I dont only expect game announcements. Anything new and surprising is what gets me excited about E3.

The problem with this years E3 (sony) is that we all pretty much know whats coming. The one surprise that they had was leaked, sadly. And well the last gaurdian...i dont even know what to say about that game.

I just hope I'm wrong and I hope the leaks are wrong too. No one saw the 8gb of ram announcement coming or how Sony completely killed the X1 at last years E3. So yeah doesnt necessarily have to be new games (although new game announcements with gameplay trumps everything else!) but anything new, unexpected and exciting. Thats why i get hyped for E3..you never know whats coming. Except this time it seems

About 3 days ago we had infinite leaks saying Sony would be revealling up to 6 megatoms and today we have leaks saying Sony isnt even going to reveal anything. Just stop speculatting ppl and wait E3 is comming all this rumors beeing thrown around pre E3 are jsut silly.
