Well that said, with PS4's sales Sony doesn't really have to try to impress anybody, merely get them excited for next year. 

This year their job is to pander to 3rd party devs to solidify their position. MS on the other hand is desperate to change their image. 

Sony has to watch out Microsoft doesn't blown them out of the water, tieds turn within a second, especially with Kinect being dropped.

Mainland Europe and Japan won't care what MS does and NA is still Sonys turf. They can more then wait till 2015 to really start trying. The more you sell the less they care, I know this because I lived it last gen ;) There I said it.
