Let me ammend my words, I said it was an undeniable fact, but nothing is truly undeniable. You can deny that gravity exists. It is a fact however. Same applies here. The Wii U has been out longer and has gotten much more first-party support than either console due to its time on the market, hence it has the stronger library.

IMO the Xbox One and PS4 easily have the better library. Both of those have great exclusives, that I much prefer to the Wii U exclusives. But more importantly they have some very popular games that the Wii U just doesn't. A great example being FIFA. You may like the Wii U library more but for anyone that wants to play a football game on a console it has a much inferior library.

Many other examples could be used. Point is many people would think the Wii U library is inferior to the Xbox One and PS4 libraries and therefore claiming it as any kind of fact is simply wrong. Your opinion =/= fact!

One game does not a library make. Yes, everyone has their opinions on any one or two games which are better. But as for an overall library, jusdging by metacritic scores, user averages, and game count, the Wii U is ahead of the other consoles.

Like I said, it will change. The PS4/One will almost certainly outpace it soon. Right now though, Nintendo just has more games that are good than the other consoles. It will always be different for some people, but overall the evidence points to the Wii U having a stronger library.

You still aren't getting the difference between an opinion and a fact.  Gravity's existence is not an opinion.  If I said "gravity is the best of the four fundamental forces of nature" that would be an opinion.  Seriously, do you see the difference here?

No, a fact can be proven by evidence, and that's what I did with the Wii U's library of games by comparing amount of retail games, user-review averages, and critic-scores. Those are all solid numerical values. If you just say the PS4 has a better library because you like it, OK, that's an opinion. If you were able to prove that it did through solid evidence like Metacritic scores, user averages, amount of games available, etc. it could become a fact.

And gravity is in fact a theory, as everything might be, because people dispute it all the time. Doesn't make it any less true, as most would agree that gravity exists.

Sorry man, I'm out, the idea that you're equating denying WiiU has the better library to denying gravity is just too much for me.  Go ahead and call all your opinions facts, fuck it.

Alright. I wasn't equating them, as you say, I was just saying that both have evidence that backs them up as being true. The PS3 has a better library than the PS4, the 360 has a better library than the One, the PS2 has a better library than the Virtual Boy. Call them opinions if you really want, I don't really care either. Just saying that your opinion makes a fact invalid without pointing out any discrepincies in evidence does not support a hypothesis.

I was gonna come and say how much I disagree with you until i saw that. Now I can't say anything.

I can see you are loving you WiiU and MK8. Good for you, I know exactly how you feel, this is exactly how wipeout HD on the PS3 made me feel. I couldn't understand how any sane thinking humna being didnt go out and buy a PS3 for that game alone. Anyone that hasn't played wipeout HD/fury on the PS3 has/is missing out on what is arguably by far the best racing combat arcade game. (in my opinion.....)

Satisfactory resolution right there.

Works for me :)

If we are leaving Knack aside, then yes! MK8 makes the WiiU the first must-have console!

It's really matter of perspective. By itself that's a fantastic bundle.

But for someone who is, for example, looking to buy primary console and plays mostly 3rd party games and/or is not big Ninty fan, there's no big appeal there.

Anyway, thumbs up to Ninty for the bundle, hope they will make similar Zelda U bundle when the time comes.

Agreed. With the Wii U doing poorly right now, hopefully they keep offering fantastic deals like this to reel customers in.

Just picked up the game from my local Best Buy today. They had a Nintendo rep there and they were giving away some Mario Kart swag for people trying out the demo, like MK8 themed flags.

Unfortunately it didn't look like any of the MK8 Wii U bundles had sold.

The 14 year old-ish kids in front of me played the MK8 demo but left with a PS4 (well their dad was paying for it anyway). Not to make too big of assumption there, as I'm assuming they were planning to get a PS4 no matter what.

Also Nintendo should probably market the Nintendo Club free game promotion ... there was no promotional items at my store whatsoever to let someone know that such a promotion is happening.

That being said, i and most gamers, see sales for reference, respectfully disagree.

If you use sales to determine whether something is good or not, I'm sure you'll agree that Call of Duty is the greatest series ever invented and that the Wii is much better than the PS3 and the 360 ever could dream of being.

are u sure that  cod sold more than wii sports, 2d mario and pokemon?

The other issue I think with MK8 is that it's a good game and all, but it doesn't really feel fresh. The vibe that I got from most people playing at Best Buy was "hey that's fun like the Wii one" but no one was rushing to pick it up.

I think they really should've made a mode that used the Game Pad in some kind of interesting way. Have the standard GP modes sure, but maybe a new kind of battle mode where one player drives a kart and a second rider in the rear controls a Mario "weapon canon" and has to use the Game Pad to swing around and target would've been interesting.
