I never saw the appeal of games like Candy Crush and Angry Birds because I found them pretty boring...
Good for Candy Crush making dat money but a smartphone game shouldn't make more than an entire console gaming company combined.

Not really surprised considering the games Nintendo released in the last quarter aren't really that exciting.
Nintendo going mobile would be the best thing for them. They could have these kind of profits.
Wow that's impressive. And I'm sure they are very profitable. I think even EA and Ubisoft make big losses.

The same for Sony and Microsoft
To me that is bittersweet. I want nintendo to make money but i also want them to stop making hardware and become a 3rd party to save 300-400 bucks per generation and get higher visuals from their titles. Hopefully they wont decide to chase after the mobile market instead
Dumb article... They also made more profit than Sony ¬.¬
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

The guy who made candy crush has just bought 50% of the soccer team i support, Derby County :)
Looks at King's stock.
IPO was $22, now a few months later at $16 and the lock-up period is not yet ended which will push the stock lower.
My point? Investors see the pattern of these companies coming in, posting insane profits and then flailing around trying to have repeat sensation and crash and burn. I think Nintendo will be here in ten years, King on the other hand not so sure.
