Forums - Nintendo - What's your ideal Mario Kart 8 DLC?

I don't know why there'd be a backlash? there's the same number of courses as in every other Mario Kart and so long as they weren't on disk I wouldn't feel cheated.

Gamers are such an entitled bunch. You don't have to buy the DLC

And a good remake of RR and Toad's Turnpike rather than those disastrous ones released with the game.

Also a course based on Green Hill Zone would be perfect!

So Nintendo need to give us something for free because we're entitled and will whinge if we don't?

I hope you don't treat your kids (or future kids) that way! :p

I think the value proposition of Mario Kart 8 is fine; if down the line, they offer more tracks at a reasonable price (no more than £5 for 4 tracks, or £6 with another character), then I'll happily buy them. If the DLC is unnecessary or priced too high then I won't buy, and will carry on playing the game that I'm already happy with.

Look at Mass Effect 3: it had single player DLC, multi player DLC and micro-transactions, I happily bought the single player and ignored the rest. Others may have done the opposite. Nobody forced me to pay anymore than I wanted to.
