If rumors are true PS4 exclusive, since the people who saw this said its being co developed by SCEJ. And well now that we have footage there's no doubt anymore its real so I'm betting this is Sony's big closing reveal or its big opening at E3

This is a big deal. The Souls series has a HUGE following, the fact that this is a PS4 exclusive will sell so many PS4s. All I see is "Guess I have to get a PS4 now". This is by far going to be the biggest system seller when it comes out.

It's a big title to have as an exclusive, I can see alot of Souls fans being forced to purchase a PS4 for this. I can't wait though :D

And just like that, Sony wins E3 before it even begins (short of MS announcing an exclusive GTA or Fallout game). Throw in a little Uncharted, a dash of TLG. and maybe a pinch of GG's new RPG and they blow everyone away.

 

This is one massive get for Sony.

It's actually a WRPG made by a Japanese studio. Look into the other Souls games if you're interested in that sort of thing. 

Tried Demon Souls or whatever when it was on PS+, didn't play very long. Not my cup of tea. I hear the games are amazing though. Might give Dark Souls a try some time down the road.


i had the same feeling. i played Demons souls like for 30 min and i thought it was garbage.

2 weeks later. after hearing people saying how amazing it was i started again, and the only thing i can say to u is that the souls series are the most frustrating,

annoying, and satisfying game ive ever play.

Souls is huge with the core community. There's next to nothing MS could show to outdo it unless, as I said, it's something absolutely huge like GTA or Fallout (which isn't happening). Nintendo still has Zelda though.

Thats simply not true.

At one point in time the Souls series didnt exist. At one point Uncharted didnt exist. Halo didnt exist. Hell Mario didnt even exist.

MS could make a new IP as big as any of those games you never know. Its waaaaaaaaaay too early to declare a winner because of 1 title.
