Forums - Sony - Sony should have a monstrous 2015

Well Sony has many studios and has a reputation for releasing many quality exclusives every year.

If any year doesn't have at least 5 AAA games, the world will end. So far in 2014 we have Infamous and Drive Club. 3 more to go Sony! 2015 should be no problem.

Ugh your posts are getting predictable. If the only thing you can contribute is insults then you don't need to post.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Well the 1st sentence is true....I have no reason to argue otherwise.

Secondly, I am merely surprised 2014 is even happening the way it is for both MS given they are still growing but especially Sony, given how they have many more established studios at their disposal. Sorry but I just find it odd they didn't plan out 2014 very well for AAA releases, given their considerable resources. You wanted me to explain myself and there you go. I think more people should be calling Sony out on this.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Sony's internal studios seem to be struggeling to get their game on this gen. I guess it was the same way last gen too, but it seems more obvious this gen. With the blow up at santa monica with the canceled ip, driveclubs perpetual delays, and the rumblings at naughty dog, it seems like there is a lot more behind the scene drama this gen.

Still, like the op said, 2015 should be impressive! Excited to see whats happening at e3 this year!

I'm pretty sure everyone will have a monstrous 2015. The question is what about 2018?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I'm not sure about that. The thing is, Sony might not feel the need to go all out at E3. Microsoft and Nintendo, they need to generate buzz badly, but Sony might get complacent. I hope not, as that's a good way to squander what they've built so far. Console manufacturers, however, have a long standing tradition of strangling themselves with their own hubris, so we'll just have to wait and see.

If we believe Kaz, Sony is striving for absolute dominance instead of just being mere sales leader. So I expect them to bring their A-game this E3.

2016.. that's the year:

Unannounced PS4 exclusive game
Secret NEW IP PS4 exclusive game
Sequel to a PS4 exclusive game
Sequel of the sequel to a PS4 exclusive game
Prequel to a Sequel of a unannounced PS4 exclusive game
Surprise return of a PS IP as an exclusive PS4 game

thats like 6...

2015 is the year they bury the Vita..

As a Sony fan, I can say I'm rather disappointed in the exclusive lineup for 2014, seems like the only major games are Infamous and Driveclub, as well as a couple of ports. Kind of meh for me. BUT this should mean we get a lot of cool stuff in 2015. Keep in mind that a lot of these are still rumors.

The Order 1886

Uncharted 4

Project Beast (Exclusive Souls game)

Guerrila Games RPG

The Last Guardian (rumored by Shinobi)

That's 5 major exclusives right there, and who know what's going to get announced at E3.

As a Sony fan you should also realize that Sony makes most of their major exclusives these days much like Nintendo so the first year will be dull. The order was pushed back in response to crowd response. They have things to tweak.

Of course Sony is going to have an awesome 2015. They're delaying all their games so we don't get jack sh*t in 2014.

Imagine what a great year 2016 would be if they held back on games in 2015.

Problem is, Kaz probably has zero input into the contents of E3. If Sony arent ready to show off their 1st party games then theres nothing anyone can do about it.

And 3rd party exclusives are super rare these days.

But yeah it would be a good idea to try and continue the dominance.
