Yes. I honestly don't think WD will make much of a boost for the PS4. MK8 on the other hand, I think could boost Wii U sales 350% WW

A lot of the people responding seem to think that WD will move consoles, but negate to realize that its still available on other consoles. Mario Kart 8 is an exclusive. Despite all the PS4 promotions, consumers aren't stupid.

WD is also a new IP. Mario Kart 8 is not. The _general public_ recognizes Mario more than WD. So, the question is, will the Wii U sell more than the PS4 next week? The answer is a huge "maybe". The Wii U certainly has a chance. For those saying definitely "no". They have no idea what they're talking about.

I dont think mario kart will produce a large front loaded boost. I kind of expect it to be a smaller, but extended boost. So no, I dont think it will out sell the ps4 this week...
