Hey guys since VGChartz already does a monthly Worldwide comparison chart and Wii has passed the PS4 worldwide i thought it would be interesting to look at some specific regions. Obviously Japan is a given for the Wii and will be for the first few years(ps3 took a long time to get some momentum there aswell) so i will focus on Europe and the U.S. instead.

Data is based on the last week of every month, starting from the end of December.

Do you plan to add a US chart?

It should be there, i did get the European chart double the first time, what do you see?

I just see the Euro chart.

I checked your post and you have the US chart but it's not displaying.  I copied the URL of the chart directly and it didn't display then either.

I edit the chart it should display now.

Interesting. It seems Japan really is the problem of the PS4. Which is a really weird thing to type^^

Great job. So besides the problem of Japan we have a Constant 1,8M difference even tough people say ps4 is losing steam and will be engulfed by Wii.

Brilliant numbers for PS4 in the west, still hard to see it keep up given what a blistering pace the Wii was at those first two-three years.

Yes that's why i made the thread, because of Japan just comparing worldwide sales does not tell the whole story. I still expect PS4 to outsell the PS3 in Japan in the long run, wich means it could eventually even outsell the Wii there.
