Fact: A can of Diet Coke floats in the water, but a normal Coke one doesn't.
This is science baby!

Fixed it for you.

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird.
Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
If laughing is the best medicine and marijuana makes you laugh
Is marijuana the best medicine?

| kingofwale said: well, when Sun starts to run out, it will expands out, that will probably engulf earth, I'm looking it up as I'm writing this. As for blackhole, I've always thought there's only 1 in each spiral galaxy. and the size of it dedicated how big the galaxy is (bigger blackhole will be needed to move the whole galaxy with dark matter/energy), *shrugs*, I'm not exactly sure, but when it gets to that many stars colliding, it intrudes into the realm of chao theory and god knows what will happen. *edit* you are right, Sun does have 5 more billion years to go. I'd say 4.6, before it goes crazy with Carbon-burning. |
Each Galaxy is supposed to have a black hole at its center according to theory but that is far from saying that there si only one black hole in each galaxy. A black hole forms after the collapse of a star that has enough mass that most matter can not escape from the super nova this cooling matter collapses back in upon itself. This would happen with a star of about 4 solar masses. Once the collapse has began there isn't enough energy for the mass not to collapse upon itself. It can collapse to a Dwarf(less than a solar mass), a neutron star(about 4 solar masses), a Quark star where neutrons break apart and forms a dense mass of quarks and after that a black hole(20 solar masses) which is a singularity of no volume. There are several candidates for local black holes
Here are some candidates based off of X-ray emissions.
They are detected by looking for X-Ray and Gamma Ray emisions known as Hawkins radiation a byproduct of the Casimir Effect. We may even be able to make black holes in a particle accelator here. You can use a black hole as an engine for one the x-ray emmisions are high energy and a result of a direct conversion of matter to energy which eventually depletes a black hole. A Black hole the size of the earth would probably only last about 20 minutes max and then evaporate. It is as close to a perputual motion machine as you will ever get but difficult to control. If the sun were to collapse into a black hole silently or abort would stay the same because the mass does not change. You would just not get any light see the aurora borealis at the equator freeze to death andif you were in a space ship and travel to it the event horizon would be near where the center of the sun is today. This is to say nothing about Swarzschild and Kerr(non-rotating and rotating) and charged and uncharged Black holes.
Biological datas :
- There are 500 fold MORE bacterias than human cells in ur body
- These bacteria account for 1-2 kg of ur body weight (it is an approximation here)
