So the summer months have hit us, and for me, the British weather strikes again.

Strikers? That's the right word. We were playing FIFA 2014 on PS4 and then the idea hit all of us! Let's play Mario Strikers Charged!!! We fished it out, and put it in the Wii U. It played flawlessly! (Something the Wii U really needs credit for)

Mario Strikers Charged is still the best game of last generation for me in multiplayer. It would have been Mario Kart, but they screwed up battle mode and sadly, it sounds like they've don't the same for the Wii U version.

It's made me realise. I need Mario Strikers U. Smash Football was awesome, Strikers Charged is still without peer. I would LOVE to see this game in HD. It's still for me the best multiplayer title ever made. I'd even take a 3DS version over nothing at all. But why aren't Nintendo pursuing the game more? FIFA is clearly pretty much the biggest game in Europe this year. Nintendo make a far better game for multiplayer and Strikers Charged did a damn good job of shifting copies early in the Wii's life. Next level games are pretty quiet right now. I really hope they're making a HD Strikers game! That would pretty much make my year!

I agree! I very much enjoyed Mario Strikers Charged, atleast until the online was ruined by exploits. :L

It would be yet another great title to add to the Wii U library, not a system seller but could do well with world cup fever about to hit.

Imagine they release it for summer 2014 in time for the World Cup! What if they surprise us?! If they make one for the Wii U I would buy it. Another thing they need is a mature challenging FPS to entice westerners.

I would love that actually. Sadly I think its a pipe dream now :( but it would have been amazing for the world cup.

As much as I'd love anther Star Fox game. I'd put money on Strikers selling more than Star Fox. It was a huge seller in Europe for Wii.

It would help a lot in Europe though.
