Forums - Gaming - are we getting a massive RPG this gen?

Mass Effect, The Witcher, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Dragon Age are all pretty much confirmed to get a sequel. If one of those doesn't, I'd be extremely surprised.
And new ips will appear through the course of the generation, inevitably. Hell, even jrpgs should have a decent amount of quality games on this gen (better than in the 7th, that's what I'm expecting at least).

Of course. RPGs take time to make so it just takes time. Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming out pretty fast for masive RPG. Witcher 3 will just be around the corner after that. I am sure we will get Dark Souls 3 at some point in the future and with all my hope, Project Beast is Demon's Souls 2. I am sure a proper Elder Scrolls game is getting made and the next Fallout title will likely take time because how massive the games. There is a lot of RPGs to get excited for.
