The hype for this years E3 is non existent at this point. It really will be just a bunch of game delay announcements, and new titles that won't see the light of day until 2016. If there's a year for the Wii U to save itself, it's this year.

If the average person sees both consoles with the same multiplats and one actually has AAA exclusives for the holiday season and the other doesn't, guess which one they are gonna pick.  

The average person is much more likely to go with the system their friends have gotten or is more popular and has more "buzz".  Right now that is generally the PS4.  The X1 has nothing coming that will override that.
