Medel and Vidal were beasts today, everyone was great, Alexis not so much but his penalty was pure class

Happy cause we were the best team in the tournament

Still i think it was a mistake by Tata to sub Pastore and Aguero for Banega (bad performance) and Higuain (All is said). I swear each time I saw Pastore with time to think I was afraid of what he could do, maybe more than Messi who was well controlled by our defence and midfield

The subs just screamed "I have no idea what I'm doing". The logic behind them was, well, I guess this with this guy we didn't get a goal in 75 minutes, so let's just try it out with this other guy who plays in the same position but is a worse player and see what happens.

Yeah haha, I kinda understand the logic behind picking Higuain over Tevez since our defense is as short as Messi, but Higuain simply chokes on these matches

Messi fails once again.

Sanchez has balls of steel.

Vat?

Messi gave Argentina a chance at the last minute to be victorious.

He was making Argentina plays fluid, in the midst of midfielders and defenders that beated eveything that moves.

Di Maria got out and there was no one to take defenders off Messi.

The only way for Argentina to win that game, would be with tall players to lob crosses into the area or mid range shots.

Argentina ain't got none of those.

Sanchez didnt play well, saved his cup with that last penalty

Messi was not good either, but you cant put all the blame on him, other players sucked a lot more

That's stupid logic, if anything. Higuain never, ever plays well, let alone scores, in big matches. Never. Tevez is a big game player and he has a lot of hunger and desire, which was lacking today. He's also more reliable on a penalty shootout, and just overall a better player. He should have played, period.

Agree, it was just the "plan" I thought Martino had made when he put Higuain

I guess someone didn't watch the match.

Sanchez wasted a very, very clear opportunity in extra time and could have lost the title on that moment. Messi, on the other hand, gave a perfect assist at the last minute, only to be wasted by a terrible, overrated player known as Lavezzi. And Higuain too.

Excuses.

Messi goes home a loser, Alexis goes home a winner.

Yeah, still Alexis was better than Messi on that match, much more active, at least he was running

In the middle they do. Iniesta won't be playing regularly, plus he's versatile on the midfield.
