This CL final better be nuts! I expect Salah to perform very well.
The cows didn't work.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
LurkerJ said: I don't understand why everyone is so fixated on Liverpool mentality after Mo's injury. What did you want them to do? Have faith in Lallana? I didn't, he has been shite for the entire season. We're humans, of course we were shocked by what happened. Overall, we were extremely unlucky today, even Bale decided to pull a miracle.
At this point I just don't want Mo to miss the world cup. Fucking Ramos.
It's a recipe for disaster in future that's why if Lallana's that bad and still made it on the bench in a UCL final that's not a positive sign for Liverpool as it's not uncommon to see such a mentality follow on into the next season where teams have identified the danger man and shut him down leading to bad season (Leicester found this out the hard way), remember the final was a salvaging point of a up and down season for them next season has a good chance of not yielding the same situation.
Well yeah, years of bad signings and crappy managers can't be undone in 1 season.
I think everyone could tell that our front-line options are very limited. The problem wasn't just "Salah is out". The problem is that there isn't another winger available to replace him, Klopp winning formula is 4-3-3, one player was injured and it messed up the only winning formula we he had. Not to mention, Firmino is at his best playing next to two wingers, so practically, Ramos hit two birds with one stone.
Speaking of the piece of shit that is Ramos, he was really on fire last night, wasn't he? For those who haven't seen it yet, here's Ramos elbowing our goalkeeper intentionally moments before the disastrous mistake:
Typical of RM to have disgusting players getting away with such behavior. RM stables like Marcelo, Pepe and Ramos are a bunch of savages.
Makes one wonder if Karius was impacted by that. In the Champions League a player wouldn't want to get substituted for symptoms of concussion, but rather stay on the field without saying anything. Two huge mistakes in one half by a professional goalkeeper are a very rare thing.
Salah going down early reminded me of Ronaldo getting injured in the Euro 2016 final. The major difference is that Real managed to convert their advantage into goals.
Oliver Kahn's commentary on Ramos in the video above is disgusting. Excusing unsportsmanlike conduct because Ramos is a leader.
Salah's injury looked like a broken collarbone to me, based on how he fell and acted afterwards. Haven't read news about specifics of his injury, but a broken collarbone would sideline him for about five weeks minimum, so he most likely won't play at the World Cup.
Rio Ferdinand excused Ramos clash with Salah and refused to blame him during halftime, I just had to facepalm for real. It's like we don't know how dirty of a player Ramos can be.
Information about Salah's injury is scarce so far, but yeah the likelihood of missing the world cup is high.
Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
Had great fun over in Paris at the France v Ireland friendly. Both had very weakened teams out and the French deserved their win. Nicely warmed up for the world cup now.
