Manchester United v Liverpool succeeds at making me wake up at 9 AM.

And making me want to kill myself.

I'm not sure if Liverpool look trash or United are actually that good.

I am glad that I don't follow the Premier League. Seems like a complete waste of time, even moreso than the German Bundesliga.

At least we don't know for sure who's going to win the league before the season starts unlike the Bundesliga.

Salah was laughable. Mane was poor. Was Firmino even playing?

Poor Liverpool performance, standard United performance.

Another Scouse implosion late in a season after a run of decent form.

That was one of the goofiest games I've ever watched.

Also known as another sensational bus parked by a legendary referee.

Seriously this second half was pure, unadultered fucking bullshit... as seems to always be the case with that certain prick on the touchline. Liverpool has the ball in a dangerous area? Let's just proceed to go down until the ref sees it, stops the game for 3 minutes and then we can kick it back to Karius (this happened how many times, 10? 15?). They're on a good move and headed straight into our box? How about we just foul them or handball, it can't be a penalty after all.

The fact that United fans actually moaned when the ref gave 6 minutes is really as laughable as it gets, provided there were probably somewhere between 20-25 minutes of actual football in the entirety of that second half.

Mate the game was over because of your first half demolition at the hands of a standard United performance you improved in the second half but the weren't many instances were I felt United were being hurt or threatened by your possession until later on.

To be blunt Liverpool weren't up to the task and bottled it again like they have in a number of seasons, United haven't lost to Liverpool in 8 league games in a row now.

Manchester United had 3 shots all game.

3.

Edit: sorry if it seems like I'm implying Manchester United were lucky. It's obvious they play brilliant football.

2 of which went in that's called efficient finishing, in contrast if your team has more shots and they're quality of what Van Dijk was delivering I don't think you can boast of having more shots especially if your goal was a clumsy own goal.

5 shots, 2 on target. 2 goals.

Liverpool had 14 shots, 2 on target.

You can't blame the referee for your poor finishing.

Edit - And your only actual goal was a lucky cross and deflection.

Lmao

3 shots from where I'm looking at the stats at least.

I can blame the referee for not giving at least one of two clear penalties, as well as allowing (or almost encouraging, actually) the United players to go down every couple of minutes.

Yeah Liverpool weren't good today, of course they weren't. Mané and Firmino always took the wrong decisions at all the crucial times and Salah was dreadful. Milner was nowhere and should have been subbed off instead of Oxlade-Chamberlain (in fact I've no idea why he started over Henderson). Lovren was terrible on both goals and Alexander-Arnold was an embarassment throughout.

If that's what you wanted to hear, fine, there you go. Of course I won't be able to be reasonable when my team has just lost to a disgraceful bus parked by a manager I despise, managing a club I despise, filled with players I despise and fans I despise - with a little spice of distasteful refereeing to boot.

I just wanted to rub some salt into the wound, honestly.
