I'm not sure what your argument is supposed to be. You're talking about Arsenal's last 10 years vs. Liverpool and Tottenham's present, but then you switch it up to Liverpool's last 10 years or whatever.

Look, there's a very obvious reason why Arsenal was laughed at for all this time, and it's because they stopped trying. Ever since the turn of the decade (maybe even earlier), they've been on a consistent steady decline every season, and it doesn't look like there's anyone at the club willing to change that. If you've been out of contention for the UCL spots for a few years, but you've changed managers and now you finally got there, it's only natural to be confident because the club is making progress, now if Liverpool still hasn't won a trophy and is still just fighting for top 4 every season three years from now, then it'll definitely be time to ask questions.

I'm not even arguing anything, I was just joking around..

I know the reason Arsenal's been laughed at. Part of it is the throw-away word "ambition". True the owner doesn't seem to care about winning anything but I don't think it's fair to say Wenger & players stopped trying. Also the results have been pretty consistent, even last season when we finally dropped out of CL we still had 70+ points we had for the past 10 years or so. Now we just crashed.. hard to call it a steady decline. I kind a hope you're true the club as a whole stopped trying though. If we got those results without trying then bouncing back shouldn't take much effort heh.

Right now we're simply having the worst season in years (our away record looks like we should be relegated) and you have the best season in years so.. your banter about Arsenal is just brutal, like beating a blind guy who's already unconscious :D

And don't get me wrong, I like banter and I don't take it seriously. I've got nothing against Liverpool either. I like to watch them play and they're a big club with a history. They even had two great Finnish players playing for them, Hyypiä & Litmanen so I used to watch alot of their games. And Klopp seems like a nice guy, I hope he has success.

So is this how Wenger is going to leave? On a poor season? Because they lost to the best team in the league twice?

Should have left last year when they won something. He deserves better than that.I'd be happy to watch Arsenal fans as they struggle in mid table or lower when he leaves and they can't find a suitable replacement.

Hmm, pie.

Atletico Madrid is making La Liga interesting again at least.

If Wenger leaves, who do you want to see as a replacement? Surely not Luis Enrique?

I agree he should have left after the FA Cup win. He definitely deserves better than having shit thrown at him left and right after everything he's done. I respect him and kind a feel sorry for him now. They spent alot of money but everything still fell apart and he looks like a broken, depressed man. I'm sure he'd still do a great job at some other club but right now his philosophy isn't working. He won't accept we don't have the quality to play like that against top teams when he should set the team play and fight like underdogs. Focus on defending, fighting for every ball and hit hard on counter. But no. Players aren't performing their best and I think this is because they know his tactics aren't what they should be.

Some short-term solutions aside, it won't be easy to replace a manager of his caliber. It's going to be a struggle alright.

Not Enrique hell no, I don't think he'd be an improvement over Wenger. To me he always looked like his players just bailed him out at Barcelona.

I'm not too excited about Ancelotti either. He failed at Bayern and what I read about his style I think he is too soft, doesn't push the players to do their best and his defensive tactics wouldn't improve what Wenger has done.

I don't know... Tuchel maybe? Emery? I just hope it's someone who will make sure he'll get the financial backing he needs. Instead of crying about lack of spending money like Conte and MouMou.

He'll always be remembered as a specialist in failure. That's better.... right?

He won't be remembered as that lol. What is it you have against Wenger anyway? I might have asked this before, not sure.

You know when he ended the drought? He won the FA cup a couple of times and it was coming up to his contract renewal around the time Klopp was on the way out of Dortmund?

Klopp.

That ship has sailed though. Now? I honestly have no idea. They shouldn't just go for a big guy, but then what big guys are there?

Maybe give Van Bronckhurst a go. They are going to be in a state like Man U anyway for a while.

Hmm, pie.

Van Bronckhorst LUL

2-0 already. This will be Wenger's last game. And hopefully for Cech too.

I read some think Joachim Löw would be a good manager for us. Maybe.. he does know how to win with 10 players doing all the work and Özil walking around. And he enjoys the scent of his own nuts. Got to respect that.

Arsenal is falling deeper. I feel bad for Wenger

Messi is just being Messi

De Gea is annoyingly perfect
