True that was an impressive first half but if I remember correctly, Pep kind a panicked and ManU got close to drawing it. It's not that City has been bad, I just expected and wanted to see better.

Now I hope that Southampton loss woke us up and we are back in form against Hammers. We've been horrible past few games.

It wasn`t Pep that panicked, it was Claudio (not as good as Joe Hart) Bravo

Oh yeah you're right heh. But Pep went too defensive and made some strange subs iirc. Anyway, I agree Hart has his flaws and can be a hit 'n miss sometimes but I still rate him over Bravo any day.

Not sure how many Canadians we have here, but the Montreal vs. Toronto series to make the MLS Cup Final was brilliant to watch. 60K+ in Montreal, and 36K+ in Toronto (both sell outs) saw open wild matches between bitter rivals. One of the best advertisements I've seen for the league.

Looking forward to the Cup Final on the 10th.

Anyone who watched the Euros and how Conte transformed a bunch of average and below average players into a great team should have seen this type of Chelsea coming!

Can't wait for ManU to lose tomorrow, good luck tomorrow, Everton & Liverpool

I did watch the Euros and was impressed by him! I love a true "gentleman passion" he has, not the kind where someone acts like a scumbag and then makes excuses about being passionate. His system works wonders. Hadn't rooted for Italy since '94 world cup. That Baggio penalty tho.. 😢

edit. Must add that I wouldn't call Italy's team "average" at all. I thought it was pretty strong actually, just missing a world-class goal scorer. So was Germany.

Aguero is not really a fan of David Luiz, eh?

Bravo has his brain farts but he's still the better choice for what Pep wants out of a GK. Has been playing on a higher level than Hart on both international and club in the past seasons

Some people are just disgusting human beings. While Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes was receiving treatment he was hit by fireworks which was thrown from the stands. Hopefully they'll be able to arrest the bastard.

I saw that, was insane. I got the impression they threw fireworks and then did it again while he was recieving treatment. The most stupid thing is that they did this when they were winning, their own team was like "WTF?" when they did it.

Well if a tactical mastermind wants his goalie to make a 6 yard pass rather than make a save then I can't argue with that 😊

Holy shit Bournemouth.
