I am too old for Pokémon...
The more important missing person is NiKKoM. I haven't checked the last 150 posts in this thread, but judging from the title, I would say that there have been no updated standings for the prediction league. I didn't predict scores for the semifinals, but what I had in mind only costed me three points, so no big deal.
What I gathered from this page of the thread is that the penalty called against Germany was heavily debated, so here are my two cents: It was a penalty that could be called, but not one that had to be called. Schweinsteiger's motion was the typical move to get the arm above the shoulder of the other player in order to prevent him from jumping for an easy header. It wasn't a motion to play the ball with the hand; that would be impossible anyway, because the distance between the header and the hands was less than 30 centimeters. How often did we see it happen at this tournament that a player got the ball shot on his hand/arm from a short distance, but the referee decided against a penalty kick? At least five times. Clearly, this sort of hands isn't a must to be punished, so if it hadn't been a penalty against Germany, it wouldn't have been surprising either.
Now for the power rankings.
France is the favorite, but I put their chances only at 55%, so it's nothing more than a small advantage over Portugal. France showed some terrible pass accuracy against Germany, their defense got bailed out by Germany being unlucky and not competent enough to score. There is also more pressure on France to win the title, playing at home and all that; this might get to the players again, because it already showed in the semifinals. On the other hand, Portugal is a team that doesn't get much credit, yet here they are in the final. The lack of recognition and respect might fire them up more than the chance to win their first title will.
My personal prediction: France 0-1 Portugal
