I'm excited for a full season under Wagner. The difference in energy and commitment from the players since Powell was let go is outstanding, turns out he was only holding training sessions twice a week and still lived in London. Wagner is fully committed and it's showing. A couple of promising transfers already confirmed, a positive brand of football being played and he's actually figured out how to play Wells without a target man.
Newcastle can potentially pull a West Brom style great escape.

The biggest drawback of the American franchise system is the lack of relegation. Losing is not only without real consequences, it's actually kind of encouraged because of the draft. But that's a lesser evil than what is going on in Europe where the competition is dishonest and distorted because a bunch of billionaires are allowed to simply buy their way to trophies. |
yeah,NFL is a much more complicated sport too compared to football on/off the pitch it suits the franchise system well and of course the usa is one country
when the eu finally becomes the USE i guess we will have a "soccerbowl" too with the minor leagues made up of clubs that are left in individual states where players are bought from like a draft system
