Upvoting a game people are looking forward to is considered "desperate"?

This is the problem with the entire thread.  It's a decent idea in theory but what it actually turns into is whatever console fanbase votes most regularly vote to make their console of choice look better.  The Order and Driveclub are gone, but Dyling Light and Fantasia are still on there.  

But, why Dying Light? Can't Dying Light beat The Order?

No one cares about Dying Light.  No one talks about it, don't even know if it's been mentioned.  The fact is, two of the first three games that get eliminated are PS4 exclusives.  Scroll through the thread and there are 'only on xbox' signs on avatars evreywhere.

Dying Light has the same right to win this tournament as The Order, Fantasia, Call of Duty or Sunset Overdrive. Hell, I've only upvoted D4 in the vain hope that it somehow wins; but you don't see anyone talking about it or even caring.

They all have the same right to win, but logically we know what games should be eliminated first, because they are not hyped games.

Regardless, it's pretty obvious the way the thread is going.  It will be won by an X1 exclusive, probably Halo 5

So far it looks like Final Fantasy XV will win.
