I have noticed many people here said they would like certain past games from mario to be on Wii U with HD graphics.

I think that's a great idea to have -

Super Mario 64

Super Mario Sunshine

Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2

All in HD graphics.

It would also be great collection for anyone that owns a Wii U and doesn't have Wii GameCube or Nintendo 64.

I think a great collection like that would sell a lot of copies and be a great addition to the Wii U.

Would make a lot of sense for this holiday, or possibly 2015 if there's not a Galaxy 3. Hopefully Nintendo have already twigged to this and have the same guys behind WindWaker HD working on it for Xmas.

Yes definitely. That would be awesome.

I'm not a big fan of HD remasters. If the developer is just splashing on a new coat of paint and not changing anything about the gameplay then I consider it a waste of time.

I'd much prefer something like Bionic Commando Rearmed or GoldenEye (2010), where the original game is tweaked in a significant way. At the very least I want something like The Twin Snakes or Wind Waker that includes new content and features.
