Meh. I wonder if I will get to play another MK game with the glorious Block Fort in the near future!

They should have added more balloons for each character.

I never played Battle Mode too much, but I can see why people are disappointed with it in MK8

I was always hopeless in battle mode and pretty much abandoned it. Maybe I'll stand a better chance on an open track.

I want first-hand experience with Battle mode before I make an opinion.


As far as we know the testing department may have found this model so enjoyable that traditional Battle stages would be underwhelming in comparison.

In racing tracks, this mode would be even better than it was in double dash.

What I loved about battle mode was the small arena style areas to play in. My favorite battle mode was in double dash. Things were kept small and simple and you'd be running around like crazy! It seems like with the new track-sized battles it could be minutes without seeing the enemy... = End to crazy fun gameplay. Bobomb Battle was always my favorite..
