I Actually just checked Vita LTD according to NPD, VGChartz is spot on. Both have it around 1.75m. You have no idea of the PSV/PSP splits in shipments, and no idea how PSP and Vita have sold around the world, you're basically just wanting Vita to be overtracked, thus it is in your opinion, literally nothing backs up what you say.

Its not like im being delusional saying wiiu will be 15mil by years end or anything, all i said is because Nintendo gave us those estimates for fiscal year 2015 that doesn't mean it'll not hit tht mark with ease. It can be close, it can be way below or wat im saying which you seem to think its impossible be way over.

Anyway like you said, we'll agree to disagree. Just learn to be open minded, i gave you an example with Capcom, butI guess its not valid

You use it all the time and it's weak because in you can't handle having a solid opinion or someone else having one, just because you don't have anything to back up what you say don't argue against others that do. And no, it isn't a perfect science, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be confident with what you have. My 3DS prediction made sense, the fact it didn't turn out correctly is an anomoly. FYI last time I checked, out of like 400 people I am number 2 in the NPD prediction league on Neogaf.

What's to be open minded about? I'm not going to go around VGC with no solid opinion and say "oh well that could happen". You could pretty much apply that to everything in life, doesn't mean I'm not open minded it means is pointless. If it happens it happens, but I'm gonna go with what history and logic dictates, and if it turns out wrong there is nothing wrong with that.

How exactly and at what point do you expect WiiU to start selling something like 8m a year?

2013 - 3 million

2014 - 5 million

Total: 24 million

And then taking into account the hundred thousands It's realistic to say Wii U can hit 25 million.

Ugh, no, they expect 3.5m sell through for 2014. And rising again in the 4th year? Has never happened for a Nintendo system in the last 2 decades AFAIK. That retention rate of sales is absurd, go check out how Gamecube and Wii fared. Even Wii struggled in its full 5th year (2011) shipping far below any previous year, yet you expect it to be on par/better than anything we've seen during its prime.

Go and RESEARCH.

Seece, if your to make a claim its on you to do the research and provide the evidence for that claim. If your so keen on defending Vita then you might want to get researching and show us your right.

Xbox will catch Vita by mid 2015 sometime as Xbox One's sales can only get better after June 9th when the Kinect gets dropped. As for Wii U early 2015 to mid depending on how well MK8 and Smash Bros increase sales. Vita's sales can only get worse from here on out.

About the discussion going on here, i side with Seece.
Seriously what kind of arguments are "The market is different than it was, if you haven't noticed" (not from tbone), "but Capcom did.....", and "anything can happen".
Hell anything can always happen, for al we know the world might end tomorow and vita will have outsold ps4. What's the point in makeing predictions if "anything can happen"? I mean WiiU/Vita/Kinect/whatever could strike gold with some game and sell 500k a week, after all anything can happen.
And as for "Capcom did....", well "THQ did...." and look where that ended. Predictions can end up beeing too high or too low and you wont know till it happens, but hey anything can happen.

I'm not saying it's impossible for the WiiU to sell more that what Nintendo predicted, after all anything CAN happen, but with the numbers we have and previous trends - which is what solid predictions are based on- (and i haven't actually looked at those numbers myself but Seece has proven to be pretty good at juggling them) it would seem unlikely.

And just to say it again, if people discredit predictions with "anything can happen" there is no point in making predictions at all.

it could go either way for both systems. People were swearing that Wii U would have passed Vita by now. Its May 2014 and Wii U still needs to sell more than 2 mil to pass vita.
