I'm not talking month-by-month I'm talking about 2001, which was the first full year of the PS2 in the west. Games that the PS2 got EXCLUSIVE in 2001: GT3, FFX, Silent Hill 2, Ico, DMC, GTA 3, MGS 2, Jak and Daxter and others.

The PS2 had a crazy good first year if you think about it.

but yes it had some good games. I remember having a hard time choosing which games to get at launch (i was..poorer then)

I love VGC.


One guy calls games like WatchDog a PS4 exclusive due to higher resolution and the other one ignores Titanfall, because it is also avaible on other Microsoft plattforms. I just love VGC.

 

And to be fair, 2015 looks even better for Xbox One.

Halo 5, Quantum Break and Fable Legends are already confirmed.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

There were no other consoles on the market. FFX, Silent Hill2, DMC, GTA 3 and MGS 2 eventually became franchises that weren't exclusive.

And WHAT is the deal with exclusives? Do you feel you enjoy a game more when it's not on another console?

Looking at GAMES LINEUP, the PS2 and PS4 are comparable first year. Easily. Take off your rose-tinted glasses.

They will get announced and release for 2014, make no doubt about it.

MS are clumping them all together?

PVZ, Titanfall and Kinect Sports Rivals for the first half, Project Spark, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon and Halo Collect for the second. Also Phil SPencer confirmed there are unannounced games releasing this year at E3, so it works both ways. You really are fighting a losing battle.
