You have no point. If you compare the two month-by-month you'll see it's not very dissimilar. Excluding indies.

I'm not talking month-by-month I'm talking about 2001, which was the first full year of the PS2 in the west. Games that the PS2 got EXCLUSIVE in 2001: GT3, FFX, Silent Hill 2, Ico, DMC, GTA 3, MGS 2, Jak and Daxter and others.

The PS2 had a crazy good first year if you think about it.

There were no other consoles on the market. FFX, Silent Hill2, DMC, GTA 3 and MGS 2 eventually became franchises that weren't exclusive.

And WHAT is the deal with exclusives? Do you feel you enjoy a game more when it's not on another console?

Looking at GAMES LINEUP, the PS2 and PS4 are comparable first year. Easily. Take off your rose-tinted glasses.
