Yea, I remember them saying it would help the cpu by off loading some of the tasks to the cloud but I never heard anything about gpu.
Sony has failed to deliver on their cloud promises as well. but Sony fans ignore that. It's just better to attack the other guys.

So MS said from day one cloud would be kicking ass and taking names? No it's a process but sony fans only see it as a failure cause it's not kicking ass and taking names yet. Yet their cloud has yet to do anything either. like instant demos.

yes please have someone read it to me....google is your friend. Sonys failed promisses are not allowed on this site.

And their plans to give people PS3 titles through it hardly sound over ambitious or impossible.

Huh? If google is your friend, then wow. Your friend hasn't been good to you at all.
MS has kept promoting as if the cloud works full potential and would be ready on day one. They never said it's still a work in progress until a dev said it's non existent of what MS is claiming.
And what cloud are you talking of Sony? If it's Gaikai (aka PS Now), then Sony has been on schedule so far, with a closed beta going on and a release for summer for the US.
If you talking something similar to what MS is trying to do, then Sony never has said they will have one yet. Yoshida from Sony did say, "if we tried to do it, we probably could do it", but that's it. No promises.
Don't let this thread turn into a mudslinging contest, the OP has a slight odor of "Here's a very warm topic to potentially argue over, GO!" but that doesn't mean anything goes. Don't answer derailing posts, this thread is inches away from being locked as is.
Forza 5 and Titanfall both take use of cloud. Turn 10 and Respawn have explained how they used it so its not BS at all. Sunset Overdrive is also supposed to use cloud to change the world depending on how players vote for change so lets see how that turns out. Its still early people and I am still looking forward to seeing how this cloud thing evolves.
If you think about it, PS Now is essentially cloud-computing, so cloud-computing still has its merits. Just not in the graphics-improvement department. At least not yet.
