The E3 Floor Plans That Have Been Making the Rounds are Fake

by Giuseppe Nelva (3 hours ago) 12

This morning a set of E3 floor plans have been “leaked” on NeoGAF, and they have been used as a basis for reporting on several sites (including ours), but unfortunately turns out that they are inaccurate, as Dan Hewitt from the ESA just told us:

Members of the media – It came to our attention this morning that false and inaccurate floor plans for E3 2014 are circulating on the Internet. The images are incomplete and outdated, and therefore action and reporting should not take place based on them. We will release true and complete E3 2014 floor plans in the near future.

So there you have it, straight from the lion’s mouth. If you see an article reporting the following floor plans, you’ll know it’s not accurate.

What a fail!!! Oh well, hopefully we get to see the real one soon

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Holy shit, lol!

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Not like seeing the floor plan is that big of a deal anyway.

You still have to wonder why fake it in the first place though?

True.

But it sort of is.

Obviously there was interest in it because of it looked like Nintendo actually reserved a very large amount of floorspace. You don't do that unless there's something big happening.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Sorry I'm not up to date on my Nintendo news. Is there rumors saying Nintendo is unveiling something big?

They're not fake, just "incomplete and outdated". That means they're somewhat accurate, right?

It's known that they SHOULD do something big if they want to compete in any way.

There's some general consensus that Nintendo has told/shown us very little of what they plan to show at E3 this year compared to last year. A large amount of floorspace would indicate a full Zelda U reveal plus several other never before seen titles.
