It is a significant improvement, if X1 can keep it up, It will do great, especially when Halo comes out

You got it, the drill didn't.

Vgc have ps4 1k above X1 but 1k bellow in NA. How many weeks would that take for X1 to pass ps4 thedrill?

And I'm pretty sure X1 is severely undertracking X1 this week at once.

Wooh! With X1 exceeding PS4 NA sales this week by a whooping 1k, and the meager 500k lead the PS4 had in NA, all M$ has to do is keep launching GOTGs, price drop bundles and/or new cheaper SKUs every week continually and they should catch up to PS4 NA sales by the end of this gen! Go XB1!!! Wooo!

WW is still a lost cause tho.

Wow... a 1k lead which may or may not be smaller than that considering VGC's inaccuracies. So, the launch of the new SKU only resulted in a virtual tie with its competitor. Considering that all SKUs sell the most at their respective launches, this is bad. While PS4's strongest exclusives are in 2015, their 2014 lineup is nothing to sneeze at, especially when its games are evenly spread out:

The Last of Us Remastered (July)
Natural Doctrine (Cross-PS) (September)
Driveclub (October)
Little Big Planet 3 (PS3 & PS4) (Nobember)
Guilty Gears Xrd -SIGN- (Holidays 2014)
Planetside 2 (TBD 2014)

And this is with a bunch of indies to fill the gaps and Destiny, where Sony has exclusive advertising rights to the game and a white PS4 bundle.

Yea.. 343's halo only sold because of it was halo.. 343 is no bungie. Which makes me also think about black tusk and gears of war too.  All black tusk has ever done is a visual demo and now they get one of ms's biggest franchise to boot.  How do you get excited for a non Epic games GOW?  How is anyone exited for a non Bungie Halo?

How soon will that be? And by the time the exclusives come will the gap remain the same, shrink or get larger? And when the exclusives come, not for another 3 months for the next one, then how soon will it take to overcome the ps4? Answer, won't be soon if at all.

 

Also, we saw this line of reasoning with the wiiU fanbase. Didn't work out well for them

when has xbox ever get more exclusives?  they exhaust themselves and their fanbase so often because of their lack of killer exclusives.  or are you implying more halo, more forza, more gears of war, and more fable?  it's going to be a long console gen.

Halo will prove once again that it can sell systems, doesn't matter how  good it is, the name will sell.
