Cool. I'm in the same boat and have never played these games. I'm pumped that this one seems like a long-lost SNES sequel to Super Metroid, since SNES is my favorite era of gaming.

I don't like that I have to have a wiiu to play it. Ninty I will pay you good money for a 3ds version!!
Anyway, I have to buy a wiiu soon anyway for mk8 and smash i guess.....man, I hate caving in, but I love metroid too much.

I got fusion as an Ambassador (feels good) so I have it on two different consoles :) The game is great, good music, challenging bosses, awesome gameplay as usual. I must buy.

On an interesting topic, I beat this game prior to beat Metroid the other M, and so the whole Samus-Adam plot got more sense to me. I like both.
