So now the Free gold games are "rent" like PS+? |
If they wanted to compete with PS+ which has relatively newish games to rent and not just 4 year old Gear of War then yes. Developers will be more willing to let them on a rentable service/limited time to play, than just here's a game for nothing forever like Game on Gold (360) was.
Hmm, pie.

This is a bad move from Microsoft. Sales will surely spike, but for how long? They should shoved a $50-$70 price cut instead. |
The Kinect enabled version will still be on sale, no?
Signature goes here!
Hey, I do like that we can use entertainment apps without needing Gold now. Because I don't like to pay for something that I have to pay for again..
$399.. kinect-less console.. and still weaker than a ps4.. what will be the selling point to consumers now?
Man.. I hate it when your girl has to leave my place to come back to you..

What do you mean? |
Gamepad-less Wii U for $199.
Side note: I just found out that Nintendo Trademarked "Nintendo Zii" right before the Wii U was revealed... How the hell do you choose the name "Wii U" over "Zii!?" -_-

Games maybe?

Wow. That's huge. And a shame IMO, I liked how M$ was trying to support the Kinect 2. I doubt it'll ever amount to anything now.
This is the fastest price cut since the GameCube isn't it? I wonder why, it isn't like the X1 was in trouble saleswise or anything.
Bets:
1. If the Wii U sells closer to 10 million LTD by 1/3/2015 I win. If it sells closer to 9.5 million LTD by 1/3/2015 OfficerRaichu15 wins (winner gets 2 weeks of avatar control)--Lost.
