Forums - Gaming Discussion - Handheld consoles may soon go extinct

I'm not really into handhelds,so I'd oddly be okay with this.

Around the Network

Who needs a handheld console when you can get a good tablet for like 200€.

Pokémon & Resident Evil & Monsterr Hunter & Kid Icarus: Uprising & so fort, are way much more better on Handheld then Home Consoles,

How do you know? Have you tried them on home consoles?

I don't see people wanting Resident Evil on Home Consoles after playing Resident Evil: Revelations on the 3DS, which is still the definitive version.

More people bought Resident Evil: Revelations for stationary systems than the handheld version:

And the 3DS version is impressive for the 3DS-hardware, but every other version is much improved:

I can't imagine playing such games as "Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memior" & Castlevania & 2D sprite graphic games & Platformer genre games & etc., without the 3DS.

Only speaks for your lack of imagination.

No one would ever imagine Castlevanina & 2D sprites & platformers in that way, and you know it.

I've played Resident Evil survival horror single player campaign on both 3DS & Home Console, and it's best on the 3DS, and everyone who has played both versions will back me up on that.

No one would play Castlevania-games on other platforms than the 3DS? Nearly 13 million Castlevania-games were bought for other platforms, only 0.13 million for the 3DS: http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=castlevania

No one would play games with 2d sprites on other platforms than the 3DS? Don't make me laugh! 15.000 visual novels are only the tip of the iceberg: http://vndb.org/

No one would play platformers on other systems than the 3DS? It's getting better and better!

Everyone who has played Resident Evil: Revelations on the 3DS and on another system will back you up that the 3DS version is better? No, there is no general consensus, which version is the best:

IMHO the PC version is the best. I played the 3DS demo and bought the PC-version after that. Looks much better in 1920x1080 than in 400x240, has better textures and runs much smoother... 3D-vision works as well as the stereoscopic view on the 3DS.
