Do we need new thread after new thread about how people have confidence in dumb luck for WiiU to reach 30 or 40 million still, or hear thrice a day the same points about "MK8 will sell a lot of consoles! Wait and see! I think software will push WiiU up 300%!"

I mean, I think WiiU will make a bit of a recovery and sell >20 million, and I'm a huge Nintendo fan, but it just seems like the same thing is being said over and over again and people keep making new threads to say it themselves.

I mean, I guess I can simply ignore, but just... so much of the same talk blindly expressing hope. Why? The topic about WiiU tracking below GCN and needing a miracle is old hat.

It also wasnt as cheap as 300 dollars until 3 years after release instead of at launch.

80m for PS3 wasn't a miracle after 104 and 130+ million on the PS1 and PS2 respectively...it was a large fanbase waiting for price drops. 80m is kind of meh for me, if it hits 100 million (still could as there's still room for drops) then I'll consider it a miracle. 

15 million isn't very impressive... nor is it a miracle... Infact, thats pretty much doom

lol wii U isnt going to have half the number of AAA exclusives PS3 did. And while the 360 had better multiplatforms in the vast majority of cases, the PS3 versions were not miles behind. The wii U isnt going to match the PS4 and X1 on exclusives and its multiplatforms are not going to sell systems like they do for PS4 and X1.

If there are the same threads that scream doom then there shouldn't be a problem with this.

A miracle would be if all those 100 million who bought Wii are all planning to buy Wii U, but they are just waiting for...something.
