Ok conference. Crackdown got me pretty happy, always happy to collect more orbs.

But seriously why put a Gears logo in there!?!?!?!?!? Thought wed get a trailer right at the end then nothing.... Terrible tease :(

7.5 out of 10, too much CGI, very few surprises, a lot of games that don't care/already knew about.

I can't belive the games they showed. Really weak. ScaleBound looked interesting, but knowing the developer behind it does not excite me. I didn't expect this. I was sure they were going to fight really hard because of the PS4 succes!!

The Master Chief collection was the best part of the show.

Weak conference. Lots of CGI. Division still my most anticipated.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

So....games that have long since been announced, multiplats, remasters/remakes....and Crackdown and Scalebound exclusive. I see no megatons here.

From a pure games' perspective: decent conference. Revealing Tomb Raider was nice.

From the perspective of someone thinking MS was going do something to begin to get themselves out of the hole they've dug themselves: 2/10. Nothing they showed said "I need to get an XBone" (unless Crackdown was a system seller? Don't remember)

Let's see what Sony brings to the table

Well, let me start with the good:

I think the format they went with for this presentation was excellent. Absolutely outstanding, and made most previous E3 presentations look positively archaic by comparison. Excellent job on that.

The bad:

They didn't bring what they needed to bring. Not even slightly. Halo Collection would've been a pleasant surprise had it not been leaked like a month ago; the rest of the stuff was already announced.

Otherwise, MS seem to be investing in niche exclusives. Crackdown sold on the back of being Halo 3 beta access. Phantom Dust was something I had never even heard of until a few weeks ago when it was brought up on these forums. Platinum Games are like the definition of a cult developer - dedicated fanbase, but inherently pretty small.

I'd be interested to see how MS' advertising money leverages these games, but still.

Pushing multi-plats isn't a bad idea. It worked for Sony. But Sony are likely to be able to leverage the performance of multi-plats going forward (an advantage 360 had over PS3).

All in all, I enjoyed the conference. It was a good showing. But I was just expecting MS to laydown the gauntlet for Sony, and instead they just kinda put down a few pieces.

Pretty much the appraoch Sony took with PS3 and it kinda worked out...

Intel Core i7 3770K [3.5GHz]|MSI Big Bang Z77 Mpower|Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1866 2 x 4GB|MSI GeForce GTX 560 ti Twin Frozr 2|OCZ Vertex 4 128GB|Corsair HX750|Cooler Master CM 690II Advanced|

Good show for MS.

8/10 definitely. Very solid and a great showing of games. No megatons but i doubt we will see any this year.

If people are dissapointed with this i think you are in for a very bad E3...as i really doubt Sony/Ninty will match it.

Sony has the studios to easily outdo MS conference, project beast and UC 4 alone will be better then anything ms showed IMO.
