From wikipedia:

"all the cutscenes are created using our in-game engine; however, some scenes were just too epic to run real-time and thus are recorded videos."[34]

Epic or too much for ps3? I dont know. You can explain better.

I already explained. At first they let it seem like everything was realtime (but weren't clear, it had space for their second explanation), because it was still using the same engine, but pre-recorded as I just said.

PS3 wasn't capable of running it realtime (or at least SSM couldn't make it happen), I do agree they were misleading (but didn't lied, because they were vague and open in advance, certainly planned for that in the speak).

Thanks for accepting the truth. Many people blame microsoft for 1080p debate but they forget past. Sony promised dual 1080p output for ps3. We all know what happened. I am ps fan but I will stick with the truth.

For me this is no news...

During my Final Fantasy life I have saw that CGIs on PS1 were the level of graphics on PS2, CGI on PS2 were the level of graphic on PS3 and expected that CGI on PS3 would be the normal graphic on PS4.... but it is always good to know that the first GGO2G (Greatest Game of 2 Generations) is getting continuosly better.

PS2 CGI were not PS3 graphics, maybe they can hit it with PS4.

Please explain... because I'm mostly certaiin FF XIII have a graphic quality on par with FF X CGI...

Now a remaster isn't the same thing... are you mocking me or being strawman?

Already editted, and I linked the remaster KH cause all the other ones had audio missing and it loses something without the song, even if ur just looking at the visuals...

Those were the links I saw...

But KH HD remix isn't an average gen 7th valid comparison because it is just a remastered 6th gen game... If you pick FF XIII it have the same level of quality of FF X CGIs. If you pick Jack and Daxter and compare to UC it's valid. Also don't compare top notch end of gen gems like GoW2 CGIs with beggining of gen trash like Larry Suite.

I know Sony also overpromisses from time (but I do think MS is exagerating on it). Everybody with memory knows sony overpromissed on 2005 E3.

But we do have dual 1080p output... Play Stardust HD in 1080p on PS3 and PSVita =]

I meant I editted my oirginal post, and I wasn't claiming KH was a 7th gen game, I just used that one cause all the original KH intros I found had no audio.  Did Jak and Daxter even have any CGIs?

You are too soft. Sony didnt overpromised. They lied.

Stardust HD example is embarrasing for sony. Tell them to provie dual 1080p for the last of us. It will look like ps1 game.

So you were just saying that you think an average game from 2012 on PS360 don't match "in-game" the CGIs of FF X and/or KH?? Now I understand your point, altough I do think that a average good game on the graphics department match.

I have a big soft spot for Sony. And since I loved my PS3 I didn't get pissed (altough GT Vision was a lot more gorgeous than the already really pretty GT5).

I was joking about Stardurst HD. I don't even know what was the dual output... altought I know that Kaz Yamauchi had a cluster of PS3 (I think 3) to render GT5 in 3 screens and make you see more on the side.

Back in 2005 sony promised all ps3 games will run at 1080p native. And it will have dual 1080p output. So everyone assumed it will be a mosnter of a system. Dual output is too much for consoles. They need to double the power for it.

the 1080p I understand, I'm trying to understand the dual output... they promissed 2 HDMI outputs?
