If you're a PS3 gamer then you will probably change your mind after E3. Those games you mentioned were already on X360 so why weren't you interested in them before?

Because that was 6 years ago and now he needs a reason to say X1 is better than PS4.

Sure they do, depending on who you ask.

and depending who you ask they are either right or wrong. despite being more expensive ps3 sold as much as the 360. In March a cheaper bundle got outsold in its best region. All the evidence supports price not being a factor forXB1

They have sold as much as 360, but the PS name is stronger in more regions than the Xbox. There are many factor involved. PS3 was suppose to destroy the Xbox 360. That didn't happen.

The Xbox One bundle cost was still more than the PS4. If you factor in the game, sure the price drops, but the price tag was still higher. PS4 was already selling better than the One overall; price is a factor, but there are other factors involved as well.

I got your point completily.  I wasn't arguing with you, just adding on to what you said.

My bad, I skimmed your reply and misread it.

If I've learned anything from the 7th Gen - most fun gen EVER, PR and backstabbing wise - is that there's a dark horse in all the consoles and you can't really know which one will be the one winning over your heart in the end.
At the start of last gen I was betting heavily on the XBox 360 - a few months of straying on my side - but in the end I loved the PS3 a whole lot more than the 360.
Who knows what can happen this time around. We may see a miraculous Nintendo comeback, or a Sony getting over confident like with the PS2 and Microsoft with the 360, or we may see the market crash and burn. Never knows and we'll see.

I'm not trying to degrade the PS4 at all, but the lineup is pretty barren. Infamous was awesome, but the rest of the exclusives on the system have been pretty meh. And their aren't a whole lot of exclusives announced that are interesting. E3 may completely change this, but for now, all I'm saying is Microsoft is really tempting, while my PS4 sits unplayed.

Well, PS4  doesn't has many exclusives like Microsoft for now. But, we know that Sony is the one who is going to pump diversity of many exclusives and it hold the future strong along with better multiplatforms support, indies, less price and Virtual reality than Microsoft offering of shooters.

Look at the diversity of PS4 exclusives announced up to 2014 so far: (all are first party unlike microsofts 3rd party exclusives)

Sony is making games for different consumers not just for shooters.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

I have to say the Xbox One looks more interesting, honestly just because of Sunset Overdrive, I love open world games, but it's not worth spending $500. Maybe after a price drop and more games have been announced.

"There is only one race, the pathetic begging race"

I'm busy playing stalker lost alpha on pc and Natural Doctrine on PS4.

so you like xbox one, good for you.

I read the title and knew this was about Sunset Overdrive.

I'm a pretty huge Nintendo fan. Their output is the majority of my gaming time. I also really enjoy a sony machine on the side. I absolutely loved the PS3 (Best 7th gen console for me) and I jumped at a chance to buy a PS4 when it dropped. Microsoft has never really interested me. Halo was always kinda fun at parties, but other than that, they never did it for me. I have no interest in gears, did not want to pay for online, and don't play call of duty.

This gen though, their output has been better than Sony's. There are many more games that I would really like to play on their console. Dead Rising 3, Forza, Titanfall, PVZ Garden Warfare, Peggle 2. They all really intrest me. These gameswouldn't have forced me to buy an Xbox One, but they did make me a tad jealous.

Today I saw the trailer for Sunset Overdrive, and I tell you, this might be the game to push me over the edge. It's everything I want in a game. An original, off the wall story, awesome asthetic, fun looking gameplay. It looks like an orgasm on a blu ray disc.

On Sony's side we have...Last of Us remake? :/

In short, Kudos to Microsoft. They really went crazy at the start of the generation with the DRM thing, but dammit, I really want to play the games that they are making. It is a gaint nutpunch to the effort that Sony has put out so far. And the PS4's future is still pretty bare from what I've seen.

Another great reason to buy into Xbox, is since your a Nintendo fan, MS own Rare so that will surely make you feel at home if you ever decide to purchase a X1. They are talking about remaking Battletoads (or even releasing it on Live)  and there are rumours of a Banjo Kazoori Threeie. Future looks great for Xbox.

I don't see him saying anything about diversity. Just that he doesn't care for those games.
