Ugh, what a messed up decision capcom. Is it any reason why their stock is down? They predicted sales for the latest monhun in 6 months what it only took 1 and a half months to do. They clearly have no concept of their own market.
Huge management issue there, same with square enix who only recently realized that a jrpg market actually exists.

Now, I'm not saying this is bad for capcom or gaming. ios is a fine environment and they'll profit from this. This is just bad for monhun fans who still have yet to play it on the console that was designed for it. Vita literally is the perfect monster hunter controller.

It's really a shame. Lots of other devs are realizing this though, because the clones are growing in number, and they're all on vita. It's only a matter of time before the right one comes out and upends MH.

A cheap and popular game, released on the currently most popular portable platform, makes sense and Cap will sure see the yens flowing through their corrupted veins.

If it comes on Android that be great since the Sony Xperia Z phones can play games with a Dualshock 3.

Monster has now become mainstream franchise.

The graphics look like crap for iPhone, though.

But seriously, when you gonna localize, Cap?

Dooming Vita in Japan, maybe. They're still putting the games out on the 3DS. And even then, the Vita has been doing pretty well over there lately. :p

I shall monitor the ranking of the game for the next few days.. I wonder that it actually might be a responce To Square Enix porting all their dragon quest games.. While the games aren't the top in grossing.. The DQ games are in the top 30 daily paid apps.. Japan seems to be willing to pay for a premium game on iOS
