It's new Halo was called Gears of War. The problem is Microsoft appeared to simply pay for publishing rights and franchise exclusivity and then just sit back and ignore quality control. This wasn't an issue while Epic was still keen to make games (they just got better and better). But they really needed to step in once Epic stepped back. Thankfully they have now done that, but its years late and they need to fill the gap.
Perfect Dark as a TPS could actually be stellar - the potential of the franchise is great. PDZ was a launch title (and quite a decent one at that - this new generation has proven how hard it is to make competent launch titles).

Gears of War was last gens mega new IP for XB. What's this gens?
PDZ was not decent at all. I bought it because of my respect for PD and all the hype, but it hurt to play. I enjoyed Vampire Rain more and that was a 3/10 game

BLASPHEMY! PDZ was not nearly that horrendous, nowhere near the train wreck that was VR!!! For a launch game it was a head of most of this gen's launch titles.
Another one of course was Mass Effect - but MS let exclusivity go...same with Bioshock. Either one of those would have been extremely powerful exclusives.
I maintain they are not rebooting PD only to do it half assed though - whatever they come up with will be good (Assuming its not just a rumour).

Sounds legit glad that Horizon 2 is not just the deep south sounds pretty good would have preferred if they would have kept it in Colorado since they could have added snow and rain to the day night cycle which would have been very cool. Oh well it looks like Horizon 2 will at least get rain and one of the new cars should be the 2014 VW GRC Beetle Rallycross.

Seriously though, wow! If this happens to be legit, I will be buying an Xbox One very soon. That lineup is huge! And really I just need to dig back into Halo 2. The best Halo of the series.
No that line up is not huge... In that leak they have less surprises than the last XBox 360 E3... If this is enough to win customers over... Then XBox one has nothing to worry about for the future... I expect and know it will provide way more than that stale line up filled almost entirely of titles we knew where coming months ago....
