Gow 3 would have been double dip, Ascension, no way. Weird move

Wouldn't it be amazing if GoW 1, 2 & 3 got full-blown remakes all on 1 disc and it released the year before GoW4 comes out...

Porting Ascension makes sense since they want to carry GoW MP over, maybe it's so they can get GoW MP up and running on PS4 and won't need to spend as much time with MP on GoW4 using Ascension's as a basis to build upon.

I would love if they did hd versions of ps3 games like they did with ps2 for ps3

Backwards compatibility is a technical problem.

The ps4 architecture simply can't emulate ps3 games.

Sony knows that people are waiting for God Of War 4.
Let's hope the God Of War we are about to see at E3 is God Of War 4.

I would buy it if this was a PS Now offering, but a full blown port sounds stupid. It makes no sense to port the worst game in the series. If you're going to remake something, remake gow3.

TLoU made sense because it was the game of the generation.
Uncharted 2 would also make sense, as it dominated goty awards.
Ascension was kind of a flop. Why spend money porting a flop that nobody will buy?

Why would they remaster Ascension when it was the worst (it was still good) God of War? It would've made more sense for Santa Monica to remaster GOW III because it was a more iconic iteration of the series.
