I completely forgot about them. Damn now I'm guessing somewhat excited.

I'm excited, too, whether it be a Dark Cloud 3, Ni No Kuni 2, or a new IP.

i guess this year we have some good reasons to get excited.

- SSM's GoW in development since late 2013. (though cory said before it wont be at E3 2015, but he could have been bluffing, however i dont expect them there)

- Sony Bends last game was released in late 2011 (uncharted GA, was finished for japan launch)

- Quantic Dreams new IP (was in development since mid 2012)

- Media Molecules game was in development since early 2011 (LBP2 launched then) thats 4+ years in development. and we know it will be announced this year

- Guerrilla Games new IP, will be almost 4 years in development at E3. people are REALLY hoping for this at E3, 

- Level 5's new game. (pretty much confirmed)

- polyphony might announce gran turismo. they said before they were aiming for it to be a 2015 game, so even if it got delayed, we might still see an announcement

i really really doubt we will see all these announced, i doubt we will see them all announced this year in fact. but there is a good chance some will, and we got good reason to be excited. of course, this is without third party games that will be there, and new third party games to be announced. 

I have no faith in GOW being shown at E3. Especially after PSX where they somewhat confirmed it was in development and then did everything they could to erase all evidence of their confirmation. Earliest it will show is probably the next PSX.

they teased it at PSX, forget corys slip comment, i am talking about the music played during the event and shawn layden was wearing a GoW shirt. however as i said, i dont expect it at E3, Cory already said they wont be there, i can see it at the PSX event at the earliest. 

God of War IV will be Sony's big game at Gamescom I think. Looking forward to seeing if the game has a new setting, and if that means a new main character. I find it hard to believe Kratos will be dropped, because he is an iconic character, but then how do you get him to Ancient Egypt for example? Surely the next game can't be using Greek mythology as well, there is no one left to fight.

maybe its a reboot? i dont know, guess we will have to wait and see. i doubt it will be at gamescom. gamescom just isnt that big. 

All the more reason to have a big announcement that steals the show. But if not, they have PSX now. 

I do worry about E3 being a let down for Sony though compared to MS. They already had one more event than MS, TGS, but that wasn't too big of a deal because of the Japanese support. Now they have PSX, they will be stretching their announcements even more. Double the amount of events that MS have.

I hope they use a new character and Norse mythology.

That was the one mentioned that I coudn't think of earlier. Norse would be very cool
